The SATELLAI collar's escape alert went off while I was in a meeting and saved my dog's life, no exaggeration
Our fence has a gap we didn't know about until my dog found it during a thunderstorm. I got a push notification the second she crossed the virtual boundary, was able to call a neighbor to go check, and found her two streets over before she hit the main road.
I was originally skeptical about paying for GPS on a collar when a regular ID tag exists, but the real-time location plus the alert the second she left the yard is the actual feature, not the tracking history nobody looks at.
Anyone else have a story where the tech part of a pet gadget actually mattered in a real emergency, not just a nice-to-have?
