Before the pitchforks: I rode the Amflow and loved it. But I keep thinking about the guy at my trailhead who rides a 15-year-old hardtail and has the best time of anyone out there. More laps are nice. More climbing, sure. But part of the joy was always earning the descent, and a motor turns the climb into a commute. If you've switched from a regular MTB to an e-bike, what did you lose, and was it worth it?

I saw the MOMOTOY DUNDUN videos and my first reaction was 'that's for kids.' My second was that I'd put it on my desk and talk to it during deadlines. The eyes change style. It can clone a voice. I'm very much the target audience for something that checks in on me when I skip lunch. The brand film is CG, there's no overseas listing yet, and AI toys have a messy history with voice data. So I'm not buying anything. I'm just noticing I want to. Is an AI plush for adults a thing people will admit to? Or do we all just quietly own one?

Bought the PopuPiano because I live in a one-bedroom and a real piano is a joke. It's compact, the app lights the keys and tells me what to play, and I got through 'Ode to Joy' without crying. My partner, listening through a wall, applauded. Sarcastically. It's not a real piano. The keys don't feel like weighted keys, and I know that. But at this stage I'm not the problem, the keys aren't the problem, I just need to keep showing up. Adult learners: how long until it stopped feeling embarrassing? And did you eventually need a real piano?

Mine is a couch potato who bolts only toward cheese. But every time I read a lost-dog post I feel the dread, and the AI health report stuff is tempting too. Rational me says buy it after the first scare. Anxious me says buy it before. Settle this.
