Hypershell X on a 14-mile trail: my legs at mile 14 felt like mile 3 (long, with numbers)

Did the full Skyline loop this weekend wearing the Hypershell X — 14.2 miles, 3,100ft of gain. Same loop I did in May without it, so I have a real baseline. Short version: this thing is not a gimmick, it's a cheat code with a battery. Numbers: 41 minutes faster overall. Heart rate on the big climb averaged 148 vs 164 in May. The motor assist on steep pitches feels like someone gently pushing the back of your thigh at exactly the right moment — creepy for the first mile, then you stop noticing until you crest a hill not breathing hard and laugh out loud. Caveats so you don't think I'm sponsored: it's another thing to charge, the hip pads need adjusting every couple hours, and descents get zero help. But my quads on Monday? Fine. They're never fine. Anyone else logging real trail miles with one of these?

My Birdfy confidently identified a squirrel as a 'large finch' and I've never loved a product more

The Birdfy Feeder 2 Duo has correctly identified 23 bird species in my yard, sends me genuinely delightful clips all day, and once described the squirrel that was actively robbing it as a 'large finch.' Ten out of ten. No notes. The squirrel now has a name (Finch) and a rap sheet. Real talk though, the dual camera angle is what makes it — you get the close-up feeding shot AND the approach shot, so you see the little drama of who displaces whom at the perch. My kids treat the morning notification reel like Saturday cartoons. The AI species ID runs about 90% accurate on actual birds, which is better than me at 100% of birds. Anyone else's feeder developing a nemesis, or is Finch a uniquely gifted criminal?

The Roborock Z70 arm picked up my AirPods case and I screamed (a little)

Week 3 with the Saros Z70. I knew about the OmniGrip arm — it's the whole reason I paid flagship money — but there's a difference between watching a launch video and watching your own robot pause, look at your AirPods case on the rug, think about it, and then gently move it to the side table zone. For balance: it ignored a phone cable completely (too flat, apparently) and once relocated a dog toy to a place the dog has never found. So it's maybe 70% party trick, 30% genuinely useful. But that 30% means I no longer pre-clean before the clean, which was always the dirty secret of robot vacuums. Anyone else's Z70 developing opinions about their stuff? What's the weirdest thing yours has grabbed?
