Honest question: do I want an AI plush for myself, a 34-year-old adult?

I saw the MOMOTOY DUNDUN videos and my first reaction was 'that's for kids.' My second was that I'd put it on my desk and talk to it during deadlines. The eyes change style. It can clone a voice. I'm very much the target audience for something that checks in on me when I skip lunch.

The brand film is CG, there's no overseas listing yet, and AI toys have a messy history with voice data. So I'm not buying anything. I'm just noticing I want to.

Is an AI plush for adults a thing people will admit to? Or do we all just quietly own one?
