Accessibility Statement

Effective: August 9, 2026 · Last updated: August 9, 2026

1. Our commitment

MetaOriental is working to make the Service usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, speech input and other assistive technology.

2. The standard we work to

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Current status: partially conformant. Some parts of the Service do not yet fully meet this standard. We are working on it and we would rather tell you that than claim otherwise.

3. What we aim for and are working toward

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper headings and landmarks
  • Keyboard navigation for primary flows, with a visible focus indicator
  • Alternative text for meaningful images
  • Colour contrast against AA thresholds
  • Form labels, error identification and error suggestions
  • Responsive layout supporting zoom to 200% without loss of content
  • Respect for reduced-motion preferences (in progress — currently applied to a subset of animated components)
  • Accessible names for interactive controls

4. Known limitations — and what we are doing about them

AreaIssueTarget
Embedded third-party video (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, Reddit)Accessibility depends on the originating platform; captions may be missingWe prefer sources with captions and provide text descriptions where practicable
Product cover videosSome autoplay without captionsAdding caption tracks and a pause control
Community contentUser-posted images may lack alternative textPrompting members to add descriptions; automated suggestions
Interactive rankings and quizzesSome components need improved screen-reader announcementIn progress
Older archived pagesPredate current standardsBeing remediated in order of traffic

5. Assessment

We currently rely on manual keyboard and screen-reader checks during development. We plan to add automated accessibility scanning to our build pipeline and to commission third-party review as the Service matures. This statement is reviewed at least annually and after significant redesigns.

6. Tell us about a barrier — and get help either way

If any part of the Service is difficult or impossible for you to use, contact us and we will help you directly while we fix the underlying issue.

Email: support@metaoriental.com — subject "Accessibility" Post: MetaOriental Technology Inc., Attn: Accessibility, 61 W 62nd Street, 8H, New York, NY 10023

Please tell us the page URL, what you were trying to do, what happened, and the assistive technology and browser you use.

Substantive responseWithin 10 business days
Assistance in the meantimeWe will help you complete the task by another means — by email — at no additional cost and with no loss of any price, promotion or benefit

7. Alternative ways to reach us

If any part of this is inaccessible to you, email support@metaoriental.com in any format that works for you, and tell us how you would prefer we reply. We will accommodate.

8. Third-party content

Parts of the Service embed content from third-party platforms whose accessibility we do not control. Where an embed presents a barrier, tell us and we will provide the information another way.

9. Feedback shapes the roadmap

Accessibility reports are triaged alongside functional bugs, not below them. If you report a barrier, you will hear what we decided and when we expect to fix it.
