Wore the Hypershell exoskeleton up a mountain and my dad, 68, finally kept pace with me
We do a yearly hike and I've spent a decade slowing down for him. This year I strapped on the Hypershell and he kept up with my normal pace the whole way, which has genuinely never happened.
It's heavier than I expected and it took an hour to stop feeling like a machine bolted to my legs. But watching him not gasp for air at the halfway point was worth every bit of the learning curve.
Has anyone gotten an older parent or relative to actually try one of these, and how did they react?
