The Centauri Carbon is an enclosed CoreXY printer aimed at makers who want speed and engineering materials without paying flagship prices. It prints a 256 mm cube at up to 500 mm/s with 20,000 mm/s² acceleration, reaches 320°C at the nozzle on the CC1 and 350°C on the CC2, and takes the bed to 110°C. The enclosure is what makes carbon-fibre and higher-temperature filaments practical.
Is the Centauri Carbon worth $299.00?
At $299.00 the Centauri Carbon undercuts the obvious comparison by a wide margin while matching much of the specification, which is what has made it talked about. Quoted maximum speeds are ceilings rather than everyday settings — real prints run slower once quality matters.
