Where to buy the ROVAR X3

Suzhou Sentigent Technology makes the ROVAR X3 and lists it at sentigent.com, and MetaOriental links there rather than selling it. Sentigent has not published retail pricing, so contact them for a current figure and for shipping outside China.

Who the ROVAR X3 is for

The X3 is built to follow you outdoors rather than to live on a floor indoors — Sentigent designs it for walking, hiking, rough ground and stairs. The robot stands about 1.5 feet tall and runs roughly 6 hours on a charge according to CES coverage, and it reads gestures rather than needing a controller. Most companion robots stop at the front door; this one is meant to start there.

Is the ROVAR X3 worth it?

Without published pricing the honest answer is that you cannot judge value yet, and any figure quoted elsewhere should be confirmed with Sentigent directly. Outdoor mobility is far harder than indoor mobility, so the specifications to press on are terrain handling and battery life under real load rather than the feature list. Treat the X3 as an early product from a young company rather than as a finished consumer robot.
